These terms explain how Budgetter can be used and what to expect from the service.

1. About Budgetter

• Budgetter (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a personal finance web application available at budgetter.app. It helps users track budgets, expenses, subscriptions, debts, savings goals, and scheduled transactions, and provides AI-generated financial insights to help users better understand their financial situation.

• By creating an account or using Budgetter, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Budgetter. By registering for an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time. When an account is deleted, associated personal and financial data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

• You agree not to use Budgetter for any unlawful purpose.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform.
• You agree not to upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the service.
• You agree not to share your account credentials with others.

• Budgetter is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or premium services in the future. If we introduce paid services, users will be informed before any charges apply.

• Budgetter includes AI-powered features such as AI Coach and Next Move, which use the Google Gemini API to generate financial insights. These responses are provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered professional financial advice. You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making significant financial decisions.

• Budgetter provides tools and calculations intended to help users understand their finances. While we aim to ensure calculations and insights are accurate, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of projections, estimates, or AI-generated insights. Financial projections and recommendations are based solely on the information provided by users and system assumptions. Actual outcomes may differ. Users should independently verify important financial decisions.

• Budgetter is a financial tracking and planning tool, not a regulated financial adviser. Nothing within the platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

• We aim to keep Budgetter available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, system updates, or infrastructure issues.

• We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features or functionality. We may also introduce new features or remove existing ones.

• All content, software, design, and code within Budgetter are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the service without our written permission.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budgetter is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for financial loss, data loss, indirect damages, or decisions made based on insights generated by the platform.

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Where significant changes are made, we may notify users via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
